I spent a week at this hotel in downtown Rio during the football World Cup. While it offered a convenient location, especially for families or groups on a budget, it fell short of business standards. The staff was friendly, but the hotel had several issues, including small rooms, noisy air conditioning, and malfunctioning lifts, which made my stay disappointing overall. The rooftop bar and small swimming pool were nice touches.

The hotel offers good value for money with nice staff, but the surrounding area is deserted on weekends which makes it quite inconvenient for leisure activities. My bed was a bit too hard for my liking, and I had a really negative experience with one of the night receptionists. Overall, it's a decent choice for business stays during the week, but I'd think twice for a weekend trip.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is unbeatable for business during weekdays, but the neighborhood feels deserted on weekends, which is a downside. The room was satisfactory, but the bed was uncomfortable and the service was hit or miss, especially with one receptionist. In terms of value for money, it offered some positives, but the overall safety at night was a concern.

Rooms

The room was clean, but the bed was quite hard, which made for a less than ideal sleep experience.
Service

Most staff were nice, especially Leonardo who was very helpful, but I had a frustrating encounter with the night receptionist.

I did not have any dining experiences at the hotel that stood out, as services were limited on weekends.
Facilities

Limited facilities, with no fitness options available and a mini pool that didn’t appeal much.

The hotel was a pleasant choice for our honeymoon, with a nice rooftop pool and good breakfast options nearby. Our room was clean, but it could have used some updates, and the view wasn't great. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay, but we did notice a few maintenance issues. Overall, it was a comfortable place to enjoy our time in Rio.

Rooms
6.0
Our room was clean but a bit outdated and had a view of the offices rather than the beach.
Service
9.0
The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist us with any requests.

The hotel's location was convenient for getting to the beach and nearby attractions in Copacabana.
Dining

Breakfast was well served with many options around, though we found the hotel's dining offerings a bit lacking.
Facilities

The rooftop pool and gym were nice amenities, though the pool was smaller than expected.

7.4/10

I spent New Year's Eve at this hotel, which was located conveniently in the center of Rio. The room exceeded my expectations with a large bathroom and ample space, though the air conditioning was quite noisy. The rooftop pool offered stunning views, but I was disappointed it wasn't open for the fireworks display. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, but finding a restaurant on New Year's Day was a challenge. Overall, while it wasn't the best value for money, the experience was enjoyable with some nice features.
